By purchasing a LaCie Advance Care Option, you will be guaranteeing that your product will receive the highest priority from our locally-based Technical Support team. A LaCie Advance Care Option is the ultimate time-saving solution, helping you get back to work and secure your data faster. Once a Technical Support representative determines that your product needs to be replaced, LaCie will ship you a replacement product immediately. You do not need to pay any freight costs, or even send us your drive first.
Purchasing a LaCie Advance Care Option
You may purchase your Advance Care Option on the LaCie online store or at your LaCie Reseller within 30 days of your original purchase date, and all products with at least a 3-year warranty are eligible for the LaCie Advance Care Option. Then, you will receive a purchase confirmation email that will include instructions to activate your LaCie Advance Care Option from your personal LaCie account page.
Terms and Conditions
The LaCie Advance Care Option can be purchased separately within 30 days of your purchase date. However, the Advance Care Option does not extend the original warranty period. LaCie will replace part of the defective product or all of it, depending on our screening process, and some users may receive a reconditioned product in non-retail packaging. LaCie will cover all freight costs. Should the product not be returned within 21 calendar days of the reconditioned product's shipment date, the customer will be charged for the full value of a new comparable product. Several reminders will be emailed to the customer before this charge is made.
The LaCie Advance Care Option is only useable within the country in which the LaCie product has been purchased.
The LaCie Advance Care Option is not offered in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
