With its hardware RAID controller, its Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, server-class motherboard, and Enterprise Class drives, it successfully stores and protects your business-critical data.

The LaCie 12big Rack Network's multiple redundant fans and power supply can be replaced on the fly. In addition, the OS is stored on two RAID 1-protected drives for complete redundancy and easier maintenance. The 12big Rack Network's hardware RAID controller and its XOR engine also provide extremely fast RAID initialization and rebuild time, resulting in improved reliability.

Among its many great features on the file level is Single Instance Storage (SIS), which provides data reduplication. With SIS, your organization can reduce the amount of storage it consumes by a considerable amount. With the help of data deduplication, you can get up to 40% of your existing disk space back, so you've got less data to back up, which in turn increases backup speeds. Best of all, the SIS technology is included in the default cost of the 12big Rack Network, it's easy to use, and it can dramatically increase your organization's storage efficiency.
